the Indian industries since 1966. The main areas of operation are Architectural
/ Civil & Structural Design / drawing / project management, including Site supervision
of Greenfield, and Expansion projects. Since Inception on the 1st of
September 1966, DESCON UNITED has been actively involved with India’s Major Zinc,
Copper, Fertiliser, Paint, and Steel Industries to name a few.Since the Early days, we

We specialise in providing consultancy services (including site supervision) for
bringing Damaged / Corroded / Distressed structures, back to the original strength, in

cater to the residual life of the structure, residual in-built capacity for carrying
additional loads, stability analysis etc, and the restorations that might be
required to structures damaged due to acid corrosion / thermal
stress / heavy vibrations, etc. This also includes change /
modification of structural systems in a building because of a change in process, or
installation of new equipments

Conducting
Health Audit / Residual life analysis of industrial Equipments like pressure vessels,
furnaces, etc. including any remedial measures if required, in order to increase the
residual life of the equipment. This is done by finite element stress analysis. DETAILS |

Health
audit of equipments like pressure vessels / furnaces / silos
etc, would PRIMARILY address the over-stressing of the steel shell plate of the equipment,
due to decrease in thickness caused by corrosion, and wear & tear etc. This also
includes assessment of whether extra capacity could be provided, or whether operating
pressures / loads could be increased, etc. The above systems lead to the Residual Life analysis of the equipment.
The restoration, and any modifications required would also form a part of
the study |
